What we collect, why, and for how long. In short: we collect as little as possible, we sell nothing, and your clients' files are not training material.
We do not sell your data and we use no advertising cookies.
Audio is used for transcription only, and is deleted after 30 days.
TLS in transit and AES-256 at rest, with an access log.
Technical access is limited to maintenance, under a signed confidentiality undertaking.
Mouhami, a limited liability company headquartered in Algiers, is the controller responsible for processing your data in connection with your use of the platform.
We process your data to deliver the service, issue your invoices, protect the account against unlawful use, and improve transcription accuracy through aggregated metrics that contain none of your file texts.
A recording is used for one purpose only: turning it into text. It is deleted automatically after 30 days, and you can delete it immediately once transcribed. We do not use your recordings or your documents to train our systems without explicit consent, which can be withdrawn.
Matter data is kept for the duration of your subscription, then for 90 days after termination so you can export it, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems and backups.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). The Large firm plan allows storage inside Algeria; on other plans, data centres around the Mediterranean may be used under contractual safeguards.
We work with a small number of providers for hosting, payments and the transcription engine, each bound by a contract that forbids any other use of your data and any transfer for commercial purposes.
You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, and to object to certain processing. Requests are carried out within 30 days at most.
We use technical cookies only, to manage your session and remember your language. No advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
For any data-related request: privacy@mouhami.dz — or by registered mail to the company's head office in Algiers.
